Finance Manager- Strategy and OperationsOur client has partnered with Lucas Group on their search for Finance Manager- Strategy and Operations.Responsible for supporting plant management finance, accounting, costing and variance analysis serving as a true business partner to the General Manager. Excellent opportunity for growth and ownership in a rapidly growing billion-plus in revenue firm.

• Provide support to General Manager and local operations team by monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on inventory valuation, production costs, and variance analysis
• Develop and maintain product standard costs, working with plant and sales/marketing personnel to ensure they are properly implemented
• Lead the forecast and budget processes ensuring that business objectives and expected outcomes are appropriately incorporated into both the long and short term facility plan
• Provide business support through financial analysis articulating the impact of key variables on financial results
• Focus on continuous improvement in all areas including financial and management reporting, business systems, policies and procedures in order to improve the overall operational effectiveness
• Complete Capital project financial analysis and make good assessments
• Lead facility-wide accounting processes
• Support central accounting shared services and corporate accounting requirements including local month end close activities
• Support local ICFR requirements including control monitoring and review, liaise with internal and external auditorsIdeal Candidate Will Have:
  • 7 plus years of experience
  • Strong financial acumen- forecasting, strategic and analytical mindset
  • Experience in the manufacturing/distribution space
  • Ownership mentality
  • Experience with SAP a plus
