Job Title: Project Accountant Location: 100% On-Site Salary
Range: $72,000 - $115,000 Position Type: Full-Time About the

Position Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and
detail-oriented Project Accountant to play a vital role in
supporting the financial operations of our construction projects.
The Project Accountant will be responsible for monitoring and
analyzing project costs-especially those related to MEP
(Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems-while working
closely with various stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting and
budget control. Key Responsibilities: The Project Accountant
reviews and analyzes project plans, specifications, and
documentation to understand the scope and requirements for MEP
systems. Analyze labor, equipment, subcontractor costs, and
overhead related to MEP installations. Collaborate with project
managers, engineers, subcontractors, architects, owners, vendors,
and other stakeholders to support financial planning and analysis.
Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, bid strategy
sessions, and contract negotiations. The Project Accountant
monitors and updates estimates throughout the project lifecycle,
tracks changes, and provides cost analysis reports to project
teams. Organize and manage bid day activities including
coordinating bid runners, reviewing bid forms, setting up software,
and managing communication with the bid team. Support monthly
billing cycles and ensure financial compliance with project
contracts and internal controls. The Project Accountant ensures the
accuracy of cost coding, maintains updated financial records, and
supports audits as needed. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in
Accounting, Finance, Construction Management, or a related field. 3
years of relevant experience as a Project Accountant , preferably
in the construction industry. Strong understanding of construction
operations and MEP system cost structures. Proficiency in Excel and
construction accounting software (such as Viewpoint, Sage 300, or
Procore). Exceptional organizational and analytical skills. Strong
communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
Ability to work on-site full time and manage multiple priorities
