Summary
As the Robotics Engineer within our Utilimaster division based at our manufacturing facility in Bristol, IN, you will be accountable for designing and developing new robotic systems, driving automation projects, performing integration tests and quality control, and troubleshooting defects in the design.
A huge part of your role will be to apply your Allen Bradley Controls expertise to implement PLC interfaces with robotic applications and to continuously monitor and refine robotic system functionality. You will also be partnering cross-functionally on robotics projects you will oversee, ranging from robotic paint and welding applications to integration with fabrication equipment and material handling.
In addition, your work will be instrumental in the success of each project from its conception and development to its completion and execution.

  What You'll Be Doing
  
  • Designing and developing new robotic systems
  • Implementing PLC interface with robotic applications using Allen Bradley Controls
  • Ensuring robotic systems operate safely
  • Performing robotic systems integration tests and quality control
  • Creating complete documentation for robotic systems
  • Monitoring and optimizing robotic system functionality using Allen Bradley Controls
  • Troubleshooting defects in the robot design
  • Improving production processes and supporting robotic operations
  • Partnering cross-functionally to optimize production and improve functionality
    Qualifications
    
    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
    • 6 or more years of experience as a Robotics Engineer or a similar role
    • Expertise with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), specifically Allen Bradley
    • Working knowledge of SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and Fanuc Robotics
