We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Android Developer with over 10 years of experience in software and mobile development, with a strong emphasis on Android. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in both Kotlin and Java, and a solid record of accomplishment of successfully migrating legacy codebases to Kotlin. Experience with Android TV, Fire OS, or Android Auto is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain advanced Android applications using Kotlin and Java.
Lead the migration of existing codebases from Java to Kotlin.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
Implement best practices in mobile development and contribute to architectural decisions.
Provide technical mentorship to junior developers.
Work independently or as part of a team to meet project deadlines.

Required Qualifications:

10+ years of experience in software and mobile development.
Proven expertise in Android development using Kotlin and Java.
Hands-on experience with migrating Java codebases to Kotlin.
Deep understanding of Android architecture components and design patterns (MVVM, MVP, etc.).
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience developing for Android TV, Fire OS, or Android Auto.
Familiarity with Jetpack Compose, Dagger/Hilt, or other modern Android libraries.
