You’ll work on mechanical repairs, welding, plumbing, and general maintenance tasks in a steel production environment. What You’ll Do: Inspect, repair, and maintain machines and mechanical equipment Install and move heavy equipment Weld, cut, and braze metals (gas and electric) Work with air, hydraulic, steam, and acid systems Handle plumbing, pipefitting, and PVC/plastic welding Perform basic carpentry as needed Troubleshoot mechanical problems and keep production running Follow safety procedures and complete assigned maintenance tasks What We’re Looking For: High school diploma or GED — or 2 years of related experience Able to read and follow simple instructions Comfortable communicating with team members Can lift up to 50 lbs regularly Okay with standing, climbing, crouching, and working in hot/cold environments Interested in hearing more?
