Job Description:
Automotive Technician - 2nd Shift Ann Arbor, MI Long-Term
Contract Position Overview: * Set up and operate chassis
dynamometers and emissions analyzers * Conduct emissions tests
based on engineering work requests (including EPA cycles: FTP 75,
US06, HFET) * Handle particulate filters in a clean environment *
Maintain test cell organization and follow safety protocols * Work
in temperature-controlled test chambers (-35°C to 50°C) Schedule:
This is a 2nd Shift Position, with initial training required on 1st
shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM) for the first two weeks. Qualifications:
* High School Diploma required (AA degree or trade school
preferred) * 2 years of relevant experience in emissions testing
and chassis dynamometer operation * Clean driving record (Motor
Vehicle Report will be checked) * Strong safety mindset Preferred
Skills: * Experience in general automotive repair * ASE
certifications a plus
