The right leader can be based in Michigan,Indiana or surrounding states. In this role, you will make an impact in the followingways: Construct Product Value Proposition:Creates Product Line Strategy including platform healthcheck / longevity and lifecycle Construct Product ValueProposition (Competitive value assessment, Value statement, Value packageprofile (product and support), Product Positioning) Build Product MarketingPlan including product roadmap for full lifecycle (new and current product),software features, application coverage and value enhancements Build Pricing strategyby product and feature across all OEMs Build Promotion Plan,Documented and fully budgeted and resourced promotion plan Place:--Channel(OEM, dealer, end-user) training and support plan Optimize ProductProfitability, Detailed product profitability analysis for segment (by producttype, emissions level, OEM) Product gross margin $and % meets quarterly/annual target Cost reduction roadmap,including warranty, component cost (VA/VE & supplier reductions),production cost Manage Product Lifecycle,Product quality understood with plans in place to optimize Cost of Coverage andcustomer experience Product plan for marketdefined and communicated Set and track optimalmarket share targets by market and application Uses market researchcapabilities to plan for and implement an appropriate approach based on the understandingof target market and competitors Defines and adopts, inthe target market, a specific stance relative to the competition with the useof market research capabilities Drives improvement ofcustomer satisfaction and solves elevated customer issues in relation toproduct Develops, implements,and measures results of product promotions Collaborates with otherfunctions and global locations to ensure global profitability of the productline Recommends marketing process changes that will improve Value PackageIntroduction and Value Directs a team of SeniorProduct Managers and Product Managers to ensure that product launches andongoing product management maximizes organizational results Interprets broad business,market and industry trends to drive successful product launches Develops the long-term product strategy,forecast, and the annual operating plan Provides product line budget requirements intothe business unit annual operating plan Directs the development of product introductionplans through Senior Product Managers and Product Managers Ensures that the marketing mix reflects currenttrends and business needs in support of product management Presents marketing approach for functionalreview and to the change management review group Drives an environment of intellectual propertyprotection within the organization Collaborates with legal counsel and engineeringto understand and promote asset protection trends and tools Directs market research capabilities to ensurethat product management has the tools to thoroughly understand targetmarket and competitors Defines and adopts, in the target market, aspecific stance relative to the competition with the use of market researchcapabilities Ensures that the product branding strategy isimplemented effectively, and leads and supports internal and externalcommunications in relations to the product range Drives improvements through ongoing customersatisfaction activities Drives process and tool changes to ensure that ongoingcustomer issues are resolved Ensures that appropriate resources, both peopleand tools, are available to successfully product launches Guides the development, implementation, andmeasurement of results of product promotions Represents the interests of product managementwith other functions and global locations to ensure global collaboration andmaximum profitability of the product lines under management Champions functional excellence; drivesmarketing process changes that will improve Value Package Introduction andValue Package Change processes Coaches and motivates Senior Product Managersand Product Managers; provides guidance and direction on problems and issues;delegates work assignments considering employee skills and development needs Qualifications To be successful in this role you will need the following: Globalperspective - Taking a broad view when approaching issues, using a global lens.

Green Belt Certificationrequired.
This position may require licensing forcompliance with export controls or sanctions regulations. Experience Significantexperience required including strategy, managerial, and budgetary experience.Broad business understanding required.
