ROLE SUMMARYThe scope of the position includes a large number of direct reports (10-30+) of several different job titles, multiple PCTs, departments, and Sr. Managers(2 or more), with responsibilities for 24x7 operation of operating units. -Key accountabilities include supporting/driving process improvement initiatives. -Role Responsibilities

  • Acts as technical / functional expert providing leadership and direction to direct reports and multiple PCT teams with different job functions across own and related disciplines.
  • Identifies existing pro---cess / product improvements and develops innovative, advanced new concepts that improve the work processes / products across own and related disciplines.
  • Manages and leads people, technological and financial resources at the Sub Business Unit/Sub Operating Unit level for multiple projects and on-going work activities of moderate complexity within multiple sub functions; May lead by influence rather than direct authority. ---
  • Solves complex problems across own and related disciplines; Decisions impact the Operating Unit midterm objectives while long-term decisions are reviewed by senior management.
  • Manages teams that execute direction in support of the Operating Unit leadership objectives.
  • Provides input to senior management decisions that have impact on business direction within the Operating Unit.Successful candidate must manage complexity to make timely, informed decisions, develop impactful short and long term solutions for our customers and patients, collaborate with others to accomplish shared goals, motivate and develop self and others to drive the business forward, consistently demonstrate accountability & integrity in the face of challenges, and respond to change with agility, optimism and innovation.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS -
    • Applicant must have a High School Diploma (or Equivalent) and 15 years of relevant experience OR an associates degree with 10 years of experience OR a bachelors with at least 7 years of experience OR Masters Degree with more than 6 years of experience, OR a PhD with 2 years of experience.
    • Demonstrated ability to contribute to and lead project teams with a strong track record of integrity.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Candidate must possess flexibility to respond to constantly changing conditions and priorities.---PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
      • A strong personal motivation and aptitude for coaching, leading and managing individuals and teams.--- -
      • An aptitude for understanding process technology and equipment, proven leadership ability, decision making ability, and excellent oral and written communication skills are essential. -
      • Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTSJob will include standing, walking, and sitting.
