MATRIX HOME SOLUTIONS IS ACTIVELY SEEKING A NEW FIELD MANAGER FOR THE SOUTHWEST MI LOCATION. WE ARE THE NATIONS LEADING BASEMENT AND BATHROOM FINISHING COMPANY AND WITH CONTINOUS GROWTH WE ARE LOOKING FOR GOOD PEOPLE TO JOIN THE MATRIX TEAM.CONSTRUCTION FIELD MANAGERKEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:-Supervision of Field Supervisors-Oversee Field Personnel-Daily follow up with Field Supervisors to report status of completion-Attend kick off meetings with Project Manager, Field Supervisor, and Estimator to discuss the job and products-Work with Field Supervisor prior to being on site, determine what hardware/special tools will be required-Organize deliveries with Project Manager and Field Supervisor-Review data, plans, and specs to determine material and labor requirements-Look ahead to organize procurement, staffing and measure production-Provide technical assistance by interpreting blue prints, recommending work processes and understanding product installation instructions-Work with Town Inspectors and Fire Marshalls to get complete inspection approvals and Certificate of Occupancy-Manage the installation of our products and services-Visit all job sites weekly-Coordinate with the Production Manager and Project Managers on progress of all jobs-Work alongside less experienced employees to mentor/train them-Training of new employees-Conduct performance appraisals for all field supervisors and other field personnel-Other related job duties as assignedEDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.-High School graduate, with some college preferred-Demonstrated 5 years of supervisory skills-7 years minimum industry experience required-Steel Framing, Drywall, ACT, Doors & Hardware, Layout, Supervision, Manpower, Material Procurement, and Wood Framing-OSHA 30 required-Building construction knowledge required-Excellent oral and written communication skills, plus a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is requiredApply Now
