ProMedica Coldwater Regional Hospital has been providing high-quality health care services to the Branch County community since 1939. Located in Coldwater, Michigan, ProMedica Coldwater has 71 acute medical beds and 16 adult psychiatric beds to care for patients and their families.The Labor & Delivery department is a Level II facility comprising the Labor and Delivery Unit, Newborn Nursery, and the Postpartum Unit. It consists of three LDR (labor, delivery, recovery) rooms, one outpatient observation room, one hydrotherapy room, and one operating room, plus 6 Post-Partum rooms. The Unit is assisted for OR procedures by staff from the main Surgical Department. Obstetrics care is delivered with a family-centered approach with much emphasis placed on patient teaching and support. All of the L&D nurses are required to be certified in EFM, NRP, and both BLS and ACLS. Position Summary :The staff Registered Nurse is a professional care giver who assumes responsibility and accountability for designated patients for an assigned time period and provides care to these patients through the therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the environment/instrumentation, and other health care team members.

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
• Current licensure in the State of Michigan
• CPR within three months of employment
