*$4,000.00 Sign-on Bonus**Centrica Care Navigators, formerly Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan, -is currently seeking a full-time Certified Nurse Aide to join the day shift team at Centrica Care Rose Arbor, our 18-bed hospice facility in Kalamazoo. This position is scheduled for (3) 12-hour shifts/week, 7:00am to 7:00pm, and is included in an every third weekend and holiday rotation. The Hospice Aide performs various services for a client as necessary to meet the client's personal needs, promote comfort, and enable the client to live in a comfortable environment. Additional duties of this position include:

• Performs personal care needs after given a client's assignment and attends to their requests promptly. If unable to perform a certain task, report to the RN or designee immediately.
• Provides or assists clients in all aspects of personal care, including baths, back rubs, oral hygiene, shampoos, changing bed linen as part of the Plan of Care.
• Performs range of motion and other simple procedures as an extensional therapy service as ordered (within the training limitations of the Aide).
• Assists in dressing and undressing and feeding the client as assigned.
• Assists with preparing meals, laundry, and other household tasks, in accordance with the Plan of Care.Requirements for this position include:
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Maintains license as a Certified Nurse's Aide from the State of Michigan.
  • Maintains current BLS certification.
  • Minimum of one-year previous experience providing direct care.
  • Remains up-to-date on all routine immunizations required by LARA and agency policy. -Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.Some benefits you'll enjoy:
