Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty:
Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per
Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in specialty area required
License: Valid state license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS,
NIHSS required Must-Have: - TNCC, CRRT preferred - Basic
dysrhythmia testing competency required Description: We are looking
for a motivated and compassionate Critical Care RN. Two years of
experience in the specialty area is required. RNs may take
assignments in critical care areas or be floated to stepdown units
depending on census and need. The unit includes surgical intensive
care, neuro ICU, and cardiac ICU. BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
certifications are mandatory. TNCC and CRRT certifications are
preferred. Candidates will perform various nursing skills including
managing ventilated patients and administering blood products. The
ratios for patient care are 1:2. Candidates should have experience
with charting systems, specifically Cerner. This role may require
floating to like units within the facility. Weekend and holiday
work is required on a rotating basis. The position requires
maintaining standards of professional conduct. Any unprofessional
behavior or attendance issues may result in contract
termination.
