seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 1
year of experience and Cerner charting proficiency for a
hospital-based IR unit. Responsibilities - Hospital-based
Interventional Radiology unit - Assist with sterile procedures in
Interventional Radiology and Neuro Interventional Lab - Typical
caseload is approximately 10 visits per day - Uses Cerner EMR;
prior Cerner experience required - Day shift with 4x10 hour
schedule, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM - Call required every other week from
4 PM to 7 AM and every other weekend for 24 hours - On-call
coverage may be required during holidays as needed - No routine
floating but may float within the hospital or to affiliate
hospitals based on census or volume - Role involves assisting with
IR and neuro-interventional sterile procedures - Scrubs are
provided - Team-oriented environment with emphasis on professional
conduct - Return staff must have a 3-year gap before being eligible
for travel assignments - Up to 10 days of requested time off
allowed; holiday RTO requires willingness to work at least one
holiday - Professional conduct is strictly enforced, and contract
may be terminated for conduct issues Requirements - Minimum of 1
year recent Interventional Radiology Technologist experience
required - Current state license required if applicable - Cerner
EMR experience required - Willingness to obtain all required
certifications prior to start; pending certifications are accepted
- Ability to complete up to 8 hours of online modules pre-start;
self-reported hours - Must live at least 50 miles from the
facility; local candidates not accepted - First-time travelers are
