jobs) - Unit: 3N Cardiovascular Unit (54-bed Cardiac Telemetry
unit) - Employment Type: Locum Tenens / Travel Nursing Contract -
Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 10/13/2025 – End: 1/12/2026)
- Shifts: 3x12-hour day shifts per week (07:00 – 19:30) - Hours per
Week: 36 (Guaranteed) - Weekend/Holiday: Every other weekend; 2 out
of 3 holidays required - Scrub Color: Caribbean Blue - Charting
System: Cerner Powerchart - Estimated Weekly Pay: $1770 - $1820
Registered Nurse Qualifications - Minimum 1 year of recent
telemetry or cardiac nursing experience - Active Registered Nurse
(RN) license (Michigan or compact state; pending accepted) -
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (pending certifications
considered) - Experience with Cerner charting required - Must
reside at least 50 miles from facility (no local candidates) -
COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious
exemptions considered) - Ability to float to similar units or
affiliate hospitals as needed - Completion of up to 8 hours of
pre-start modules (self-reported) Telemetry Nurse Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients
with cardiac conditions including heart failure, STEMI/NSTEMI,
stroke, arrhythmias, and chest pain - Monitor patients using
cardiac telemetry (remote and on-unit) - Administer and manage
cardiac drips and vasoactive medications (no titration required) -
Perform blood product administration, central and peripheral line
care, and wound care - Interpret dysrhythmias and arterial blood
gases - Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams such as
Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, and Rapid
Response Teams - Float to similar units or affiliate hospitals
based on census and volume - Maintain professional conduct and
