RN License required Certifications: ACLS (AHA) BLS (AHA) PALS (AHA)
NIHSS Must-Have: Pending Michigan license acceptable with ETA at
the time of submission. Experience in Level 1 Trauma preferred.
Ability to work every other weekend and holidays. Description: The
position is for a Registered Nurse in the emergency room. The
candidate will work night shifts, specifically 3 shifts per week.
Participation in holiday scheduling is mandatory, with no
exceptions for Christmas time off. The nurse should possess
certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS. Preferred candidates will
have additional certifications such as ENPC and TNCC. The unit
handles a diverse patient population, including neonates,
adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. The average daily census is
around 260 patients. Staffing and scheduling details indicate a
patient ratio of five patients per nurse on nights. Additional
interdisciplinary support includes respiratory services, social
services, and pharmacy. Compliance with flu vaccination
requirements is necessary, with exemptions only for medical
reasons.
