Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 12/08/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 48 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Telemetry position requiring a MI RN license, cardiac care experience, and night shift availability. Responsibilities - Work in a 54-bed Cardiac Telemetry unit within a hospital setting - Primary patient population includes heart failure, heart attack (STEMI/NSTEMI), stroke, arrhythmias, and chest pain - Patients are monitored via remote telemetry and on the unit; cardiac drips are administered - Occasional care for overflow medical patients as needed - Patient ratios may increase up to 1:7 during staffing transitions - Night shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts per week () - Required to work every other weekend - Must work two out of three major holidays - No call responsibilities - Uses Cerner Powerchart for documentation - Block scheduling cannot be guaranteed but may be accommodated when possible - Unit is actively hiring additional support staff to improve nurse-patient ratios - Scrub color requirement is Caribbean Blue - Must be willing to work with a patient population requiring complex cardiac monitoring and interventions - Holiday coverage includes a requirement to work two of the three major holidays Requirements - Active MI RN license required - Minimum of one year RN experience - Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required - Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible - Experience in cardiac or telemetry nursing preferred - First-time travelers are welcome to apply Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-642940.
