Registered Nurse (RN) | Registered Nurse First Assistant Location: Kalamazoo, MI Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,766 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/9/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified RNFA RN in Kalamazoo, Michigan, 49007! Job Title: Registered Nurse First Assistant Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: RNFA Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 07:00 - 17:30 Experience: Minimum 5 years preferred License: Valid Michigan license required Certifications: Required Must-Have: Proficient in endoscopic vein harvesting and CVOR experience. Must have 3s or 4s in vein harvesting. Description: MUST be able to proficiently harvest vein endoscopically. CVOR experience is required. Previous travel experience is strongly preferred. A float requirement includes general department FA coverage, such as ortho, vascular, gyn, thoracic, and general surgeries, when cardiac is not applicable. The candidate must have previous charge experience. Experience with charting systems is necessary. Daily census is expected to be 80-100 cases. The unit includes 21 operating rooms. Interdisciplinary support is available with services such as phlebotomy, radiology, pharmacy, and transportation. Special procedures performed in the unit include eyes, ENT, dental, maxillofacial, urology, GYN, robotics, general surgery, pediatrics, trauma, plastics, breast, neuro, ortho spine, ortho, cardiovascular, thoracic, and gift of life. Special equipment utilized includes XI robots and an endovascular suite. Flu vaccination is required, with medical exemptions only.
