Hematologist opening in Grand Rapids, MI Located in the heart of
Grand Rapids, MI Position Details Specialty: Hematology Practice
Type: Full-time, employed position within a robust, multispecialty
cancer program Scope: Based in Grand Rapids, with the opportunity
to expand practice across Health System West Michigan Team
Composition: Work alongside 150 board-certified physicians in 17
oncology specialties with integrated staff and tumor boards
Facilities: Comprehensive radiology program, including port
placement, and advanced treatment options Multispecialty Support:
Collaborate with specialized radiation oncologists, nurse
navigators, cancer rehabilitation, palliative care, and integrative
medicine teams Academic Opportunities: Academic appointment
available with Michigan State University, commensurate with
experience Fellowship Training: Health System is launching a
Hematology Oncology fellowship training program in 2025/2026
Highlights FACT-accredited Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) program,
including CAR T-Cell Therapy 11 comprehensive cancer programs
offering screening, prevention, diagnostics, and treatment services

Qualifications Board Eligible/Board Certified in Hematology Medical
Degree (MD or DO) with unrestricted license in Michigan DEA
Registration required in Michigan upon hire Basic Life Support
(BLS) certification required within 120 days of hire (AHA or ARC
accepted) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
