registered nurse seasoned in oncology care on a step-down medical
oncology unit. This contract position offers a chance to apply and

Key Responsibilities: Deliver skilled nursing care to oncology and
general medical step-down patients Administer chemotherapy safely
through IV Start IVs proficiently and use specialized medical
equipment, including Welch Allyn Vital Sign Towers and Sigma IV
Pumps Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic
medical records Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide
high-quality patient care Adapt to floating assignments in various
medical-surgical areas, including assessment units and emergency
departments Maintain nurse-to-patient ratios typically ranging from
1:4 to 1:6, with support available to manage workload Work a night
shift schedule, four 12-hour shifts weekly (19:00 to 07:30),
including every other weekend Desired Qualifications and
Experience: Active Michigan RN license Certification in oncology
nursing by ONCC or ONS required (pending ONS certification
accepted; ONC certification must be current) Minimum two years of
experience in progressive care or step-down units Current BLS
certification from the American Heart Association Competency in
chemotherapy administration and IV therapy This position offers
block scheduling flexibility and self-scheduling options for
non-weekend shifts, with weekends assigned by management.
