be considered. An opportunity is available for a registered nurse
with a passion for oncology care on a specialized step-down unit.
This role focuses on providing care for general medical and
oncology step-down patients. The unit utilizes advanced technology
including Welch Allyn Vital Sign towers, Sigma IV pumps, and EPIC
for clinical documentation, supporting high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities: Administer chemotherapy via IV and manage IV
starts Provide care to oncology and general medicine step-down
patients Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality
care and patient safety Utilize Epic system for thorough and
accurate documentation Support various med-surg areas including
acute units and emergency rooms as needed Maintain nurse-to-patient
ratios generally between 1:4 and 1:6, adjusting for patient acuity
Participate in weekend rotations every other weekend with a
schedule that allows self-scheduling flexibility for weekdays
Qualifications / Desired Experience: Current Michigan RN License
ONCC (Oncology Certified Nurse) or ONS (Oncology Nursing Society)
certification required; pending ONS certification will be accepted
BLS certification from the American Heart Association Minimum of 2
years experience in PCU/Step-down or comparable setting Competency
in starting IVs and chemotherapy administration Schedule: Night
shifts, 4 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 pm - 7:30 am) 36 or
48 hour weekly options available (please specify preference) Block
scheduling may be accommodated upon request This contract role
