Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Telemetry RN to join a high-acuity Cardiovascular Telemetry Unit (54 beds). This unit manages complex cardiac patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring and IV cardiac drips. The RN will deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, team-based environment. Unit Details - Unit: 3N – Cardiovascular Telemetry - Total Beds: 54 - Charting System: Cerner PowerChart - Scrub Color: Caribbean Blue - Patient Monitoring: Remote telemetry room bedside monitoring Patient Ratios - Typical: 1:5 – 1:6 - With call-ins: Up to 1:7 (Unit is actively onboarding travelers and hiring PCTs to improve staffing.) Patient Population - Heart Failure - STEMI / NSTEMI - Stroke patients requiring cardiac monitoring - Cardiac arrhythmias - Chest pain - Overflow medical patients as needed Key Responsibilities - Provide comprehensive nursing care to cardiac telemetry patients - Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms - Manage and titrate cardiac drips - Perform patient assessments and documentation - Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams - Respond to acute changes in patient condition Required Experience - Minimum 1 year of Telemetry or Cardiac RN experience - First-time travelers accepted Required Certifications - BLS (AHA) - ACLS - NIHSS About LanceSoft Established in 2000, LanceSoft is a Certified MBE and Woman-Owned organization.
