working with Cynet Health to find a qualified RNFA RN in Kalamazoo,
Michigan, 49007! Job Title: Registered Nurse First Assistant
Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: RNFA Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours (07:00 - 17:30) Experience:
Minimum of 5 years preferred, including travel experience License:
Valid Michigan license required Certifications: CPR/BLS
certification required Must-Have: Proficient in endoscopic vein
harvesting and CVOR experience Description: Candidate must be able
to proficiently harvest vein endoscopically. CVOR experience is
required. Candidates must have demonstrated competencies in vein
harvesting and cardiac areas. Start date is ideally desired as soon
as possible. Travelers will be required to provide general
department FA coverage, including ortho, vascular, gyn, thoracic,
and general surgeries when cardiac is not applicable. There is a
call requirement of 12-18 days per month. Weekend coverage is
needed for 2-3 weekends per month. Candidates must highlight
previous charge experience and patient ratio experience. Daily
census generally ranges from 80 to 100 cases. Unit will support
interdisciplinary teams including phlebotomy, radiology, pharmacy,
and transportation. Experience with special procedures such as
eyes, ENT, dental, maxillofacial, urology, GYN, robotics, general
surgery, pediatrics, trauma, plastics, breast, neuro, ortho spine,
and cardiac vascular is advantageous. Familiarity with special
equipment, including robotics and endovascular suites, is a plus.
Candidates are expected to complete all required lab work within
specified timeframes following contract signing. Documentation for
flu vaccination or exemption must be included with application.
Modules are self-reported and need to be completed annually.
