Description: Job Summary: The cook is responsible for sanitary, appetizing, appealing preparation and serving of all meals. The cook is responsible for maintaining sanitation of the food preparation area and supervision of Dining employees in the absence of the Dining Manger Required Duties and Responsibilities:o Prepare meals incorporating portion control procedures. Utilize menus and recipes assigned by the Chef/Supervisor.o Prepare food and assist in serving of meals.o Maintain cleanliness of equipment used in food preparation area.o Prepare for serving refreshments or special meals or events.o Assist Dining Supervisor when necessary.Must be adaptable, dependable and willing to assist other dietary personnel when necessary Requirements: Qualifications:o Able to lift 50#, push and pull carts o Able to demonstrate leadership.o Must be aware of the condition of equipment and dietary area. Advise the manager of items needing maintenance or attention.o Must be adaptable, dependable and willing to assist other dietary personnel when necessary o Able to perform repetitive tasks.o Be available to work weekends and holidays as necessaryPI207929240
