SUMMARY
The IT DevOps developer II enhances and improves ANSYS global infrastructure systems and processes in direct support of Product Creation, IT and ACE business units.

This role will be responsible for developing, configuring, administering and the deployment of automated infrastructure in both Cloud and Co-Lo environments across the organization.

The role is responsible for the validation of business requirements and design approaches, advanced system improvements within various environments and provides expertise to the business units in a limited subject matter field.

This role can work independently with moderate supervision and participate as a technology resource in larger projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Creates and moves business services and functions in a cloud /EDI architecture
• Communicates and drives infrastructure improvement ideas within a project based framework
• Develops processes, optimization methods, and risk management strategies
• Performs advanced customization and improvements of core cloud /EDI infrastructure
• Performs root-cause analysis: troubleshoot cloud /EDI infrastructure services
• Tests and promotes enhancements to existing infrastructure systems
• Collaborates with other business functions on complex business requirements, including design and integration points
  MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • A minimum of three years commercial experience in a similar role
  • Familiar with virtualization, and virtual loads in Azure
  • Knowledge of test and build systems, source code repositories
  • Familiar with Iaas, PaaS, and SaaS
  • Proficient with automation and scripting languages (PowerShell, Python)
  • Programming Languages (C#, C++)
  • Detailed understanding of operating system concepts
  • Ability to conceptualize and implement process and design improvements
    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
    
    • Experience of AWS and Google Cloud useful
