Position: Systems AdministratorA leading provider of IT Services in the Kalamazoo, MI area is seeking a full-time, permanent Systems Administrator to join their growing team of IT professionals!
Job Description of the Systems Administrator:
In this role, you'll be assisting clients with On-Prem to Azure server migrations, working with Azure VM's and Azure files. This would include client onboardings, server migrations, O365 migrations, supporting issues with systems or networks, assisting with hardware, remote access solutions, administration and maintenance. Great opportunity to work with a wide variety of tools, technology and environments!
Preferred Experience of the Systems Administrator:

• 3+ years of Technical Support, Systems Administration, Server Administration or similar experience
  
• Experience with Azure VMs, Azure Files, Azure Active Directory, etc.
  
• Experience with virtual servers like Hyper-V or VMware
  
• Experience with workstation setup, deployment, configuration, user administration and troubleshooting hardware
  
• Experience using a ticketing system and/or remote monitoring & management tools (RMM)
  
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals such as subnetting, routing, DNS, DHCP, Ping, Traceroute
  
• Good communication and customer service skills
  Bonus Experience of the Systems Administrator:
  
  • Prior experience working for an IT Managed Service Provider (MSP)
    
  • Certifications such as Microsoft MCSE, Azure Fundamentals, Azure Administrator, etc.
    
  • Experience with Ubiquiti or Untangle Network equipment
