This is a 3rd shift position:

What you will do

Sets up and operates a variety of automatic or semi-automatic machines including robotic assembly equipment used in the production of the company's product. Responsible for the overall operation of potentially large-scale manufacturing machinery including actions such as feeding materials for processing, adjusting settings, performing minor repairs, and pulling finished product from the line. Works from process sheets or written/verbal instructions given by supervisor to perform production tasks. Checks and inspects operation results against predetermined tolerances.

Under close to general supervision working on various CNC machines throughout the machine shop. Must possess the ability to inspect the various components produced using precision measuring equipment while keeping production records and maintenance logs.

1. Perform repetitive to frequent tasks using standard procedures and various conventional and/or manual machine tools.

2. May work from engineering drawings and/or specifications.

3. Will be required to comply with documentation and/or record-keeping procedures.

4. Use precision measuring equipment to ensure components meet engineering specifications.

5. Perform minor offset adjustments to keep components within engineering specifications.

6. Train others on operational and/or documentation procedures.

Position Requirements

* Blueprint reading.
* Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
* Effective interpersonal communication skills.
* Intermediate math skills.
* Demonstrated machining and mechanical aptitude.
* Ability to operate small hand tools (e.g. pliers, screwdrivers, hammers, wrenches, etc.), power tools and, common measuring equipment.
* 1-3 years related machining experience.
* Basic understanding of machining practices.
* Intermediate understanding of control operation.
* Basic CIM and networking skills.
* Preferred beginner machine language.
