Position Summary
Metal Fabricator prepares, fabricates and welds various metal constructions, components and structures. Metal Fabricators work from patterns and blueprints, using a variety of tools and machines to make metal parts or assemble components.
Position Responsibilities
Read and understand engineering blueprints and plans to know exactly what is required of any project.
Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes and procedures in all the work they do.
Operate cutting saws to cut various metals, and weld and grind fabricated structures to meet structural requirements.
Perform detailed quality checks to ensure that it meets all standards and requirements
Fabricating and constructing metal components.
Maintain tolerances determined by part specifications

Education
Position Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Experience
2 or more years of metal fabrication experience
Welding experience
Work Environment And Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for longer periods
Lift and manipulate large metal objects
Manufacturing environment
