Please make sure work history and education are added correctly.Job Summary We are currently seeking a Training Associate for our Quality Control team located at our Mattawan, MI site. A Training Associate is responsible for the instruction of technical skills for staff. This includes providing and/or coordinating technical training, conducting skill proficiency assessments, maintaining training documentation, and providing feedback to training program governance representative(s) and managers of the trainees. The Training Associate will work directly with the Quality Control discipline and will coordinate training opportunities for Data Analysts with applicable supervisors. A successful candidate must meet the job description requirements as well as possess experience assisting and/or providing training for review and archival of analyses performed by Laboratory Science disciplines, including but not limited to data review for dose formulations, large and small molecule analysis, molecular and cell-based assays, biomarkers, and flow cytometry-based lab work. The Training Associate position for Quality Control is responsible for providing staff development for interpreting Protocols and SOPs, reviewing analytical procedures, reviewing equipment records, and creating report tables. The ideal candidate will have great attention to detail, prior experience working with large datasets, and the ability to independently perform and/or train technical functions for the support of internal studies as well as external client-based studies in a GLP compliant environment. Job Qualifications Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience. A minimum of 2 years of working experience in a technical role. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above. Ability to demonstrate proficiency in required discipline technical skills; previous training or teaching experience preferred. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing at all levels inside and outside the organization. Basic familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite. Computer skills, commensurate with Essential Functions, including the ability to learn a validated system. Ability to work extended hours beyond normal work schedule to include, but not limited to evenings, weekends, extended shifts, and/or extra shifts; sometimes on short notice. Ability to work under specific time constraints.
