Relief Worker Starting Salary: $15.00/hr. Part-time 8-40 hrs. /Week Shifts: 6:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.,2:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m., 9:30 p.m. - 7:30 a.m. General Summary: The purpose of this job is to supervise the safety and security of juvenile court wards and provide positive reinforcement and discipline. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: --- Monitor and ensure the safety and security of all residents and facility staff. --- Possess clear knowledge of and adhere to all facility policies and procedures. --- Ensure individual and group interaction with residents. --- Conduct individual and group interactions with co-workers and administration. --- Paperwork/information management --- Perform related work as required Minimum Qualifications: --- At least two years of relevant college-level course work or an Associate's degree from an accredited college or university in criminal justice, sociology, psychology, or a related field, with completion of an undergraduate degree preferred. --- Some work experience working with juveniles is required.
