Job Description Operator I - Kalamazoo, MIDivision - WFSI / A.M. ToddThis is a full-time hourly position.Position Summary: Blend, filter, dump, de-water, and draw products within the plant to ensure that the most effective and efficient means are utilized to meet production requirementsJob Responsibilities: (Including, but not limited to)Blend, filter, dump, de-water, and draw products to produce flavor componentsRead production schedules, pick lists, work orders, or material requisitions to determine items to be blended, filtered, dumped, etc.Drives forklift to transport items to and from specified staging and production areasRecord all necessary information of material usage within the facility using both Adage and any other forms of documentation required by ADM or A.M. ToddMaintain inventory control integrity by both physically and electronically moving product throughout the facility simultaneouslyUse Adage via the computer or scanner to enter, track, and maintain inventory transactions as they relate to inventory movementAdhering to all labeling, weight, and packaging requirementsMaintain and follow all GMP's and operational procedures including master sanitation to ensure the safety of co-workers and product integrityFollow ISO proceduresComplies with the food safety management systemParticipates as required to ensure food safety and ISO/Food Safety certificationPerform other duties and assignments as requiredJob Requirements:Promotes the ADM Way and Core ValuesHigh School, equivalent or degree in related fieldCombination of education and experience also acceptableExperience in food, chemical or pharmaceutical manufacturing a plusForklift experienceBasic math skillsBasic computer skills, (Word and Excel)Self-motivated & commitment to continuous improvementAbility to follow instructions/directions with moderate supervisionAbility to multitaskStrong communication skillsStrong attention to detailAbility to work collaboratively as a member of teamPhysical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
