Job Description:
We are a growing full-service landscape contractor based in
Kalamazoo, Michigan that offers its employees a dynamic team
environment, the ability to make a difference immediately, and a
design/sales process that supports your growth.We are looking for a
landscape designer or landscape architect with a creative design
esthetic and proven sales skills. The Landscape Designer/Architect
will be responsible for the design process from initial client
contact through closing the sale.This includes meeting with
potential clients, conducting site investigations, developing a
plan and drafting designs/plans, developing cost estimates, and
then presenting the plan and closing the sale. Qualifications *
Bachelors Degree in landscape architecture, landscape design,
horticulture or related field or equivalent experience * 3+ years
of experience as a landscape designer or landscape architect
including experience with residential projects/plans * 3+ years of
successful sales experience * Experience with AutoCAD, Sketchup or
other computer aided design programs * Microsoft Office Proficiency
* Complete understanding of landscape/hardscape construction,
drainage and grading * Thorough plant knowledge and identification
skills * Proven sales skills and demonstrated ability to build and
maintain relationships * Detail oriented with excellent
organizational skills * Valid drivers license with clean driving
