Job Description:

Position: IT Support Technician A leading provider of IT Services in the Kalamazoo, MI area is seeking a full-time, permanent IT Support Technician to join their growing team of IT professionals! Job Description of the IT Support Technician: In this role, you'll be assisting & supporting the design & implementation of varied client physical networks, systems, and data systems. This would include client onboardings, server migrations, O365 migrations, supporting issues with systems or networks, assisting with hardware, remote access solutions, administration and maintenance. Great opportunity to work with a wide variety of tools, technology and environments! Preferred Experience of the IT Support Technician:

• 1+ years of Help Desk or Technical Support experience
• Experience with workstation setup, deployment, configuration and troubleshooting hardware
• Exposure to user administration using Office 365 Admin Center, Active Directory (adding/removing users, manipulating users/groups), etc.
• Experience using a ticketing system and/or remote monitoring & management tools (RMM)
• Knowledge of server virtualization such as Hyper-V or VMware,
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals such as subnetting, routing, DNS, DHCP, Ping, Traceroute
• Good understanding of firewalls to get clients remotely connected with a VPN
• Good communication skills interacting with clients over the phone or face-to-face Bonus Experience of the IT Support Technician:
  • Prior experience working for an IT Managed Service Provider (MSP)
  • Certifications such as CompTIA, Cisco, MSFT
  • Experience with Ubiquiti or Untangle Network equipment Location:
