Accountant - Tax Seeking a qualified Accountant for our client Our client, a large firm, is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Accountant to join their tenured team. Accountant Responsibilities: Conducting journal entries to accurately record financial transactions. Prepare and review tax workpapers for entities, C Corporations and partnerships. Calculate tax estimates and accruals Prepare and review tax journal entries Assist in desired training materials Make recommendations on state and federal tax managers Collaborating with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting processes. Participating in budgeting and forecasting activities to facilitate strategic decision-making. Preferred requirements for the accountant: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration. 2-3 years of experience in insurance corporate tax or public accounting experience. Strong tax and statutory accounting research abilities. Strong proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
