Job Description:
Job Summary: Our client is seeking a full-time dynamic and
innovative Digital Integration Specialist and Librarian who can
support the effective integration of technology into teaching and
learning across our campus and lead our Middle School Library
program. The ideal candidate will be a passionate educator with a
strong understanding of educational technology and a proven ability
to train and support staff, as well as knowledge of library systems
and science. This role requires a collaborative and proactive
individual who can work effectively with teachers, administrators,
and support staff to enhance student learning through technology
and the use of the library. Responsibilities: Technology
Integration & Support: Provide ongoing support and training to
teachers and staff on the effective use of educational technology
tools and resources. Troubleshoot technology-related issues and
provide timely solutions. Evaluate and recommend new educational
technologies to enhance teaching and learning. Maintain a
comprehensive understanding of current and emerging educational
technology trends. Professional Development & Training: Develop and
deliver engaging and effective professional development workshops
and training sessions for teachers and staff. Create and maintain
online resources and documentation to support technology
integration. Provide individualized coaching and mentoring to
teachers on technology integration strategies. Facilitate
collaborative learning opportunities for teachers to share best
practices in technology integration. Middle School Librarian:
Support the Library Department's philosophies, goals, and policies
as well as the Middle School's pedagogical program. Develop and
maintain the Middle School Library's collection and resources in
accordance with the Library Department's curriculum. Assist
students and faculty in locating and using materials and resources
and in conducting research. Demonstrate competence in the
organizing, cataloging, processing, storing, shelving, and
circulating of Middle School Library materials. Create a welcoming
Middle School Library environment and promote a love of reading.
Platform Management & Administration: Provide support and training
on the Canvas Learning Management System (LMS). Provide support and
training on the Blackbaud Student Information System (SIS) Assist
with the implementation of other educational technology platforms
and software. Ensure data privacy and security compliance in all
technology-related activities. Collaboration & Communication:
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and technology staff to
identify technological needs and develop solutions. Communicate
effectively with all stakeholders regarding technology updates,
training opportunities, and support services. Create and maintain a
positive and supportive technology culture within the school
corporation. Qualifications Qualifications: Associates degree in
Education, Technology, or Library Science. Experience in
educational technology integration or related fields. Strong
understanding of instructional design principles and best practices
